Welcome to WallVoid — HD Wallpapers (“WallVoid”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being fully transparent about how we handle your information.
WallVoid does not require you to create an account or sign in. You can use all features of the app anonymously. This Privacy Policy covers browsing and downloading wallpapers from Unsplash, saving wallpapers to your photo library, uploading images from your device, and generating wallpapers using AI.
By downloading or using WallVoid, you agree to the practices described below.
WallVoid does not require an account or sign-in. We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal identifying information unless you contact us directly for support.
- Device type, operating system version, and app version
- App usage data (screens viewed, features used, session duration)
- Crash reports and performance data
- General location — country or region level only, not precise GPS
- IP address (used for analytics only, not stored long-term)
- Images you choose to upload from your device (for custom wallpapers)
- Text prompts you enter to generate AI wallpapers
- No name, email, or account information — no sign-in required
- We do not browse or scan your full photo library — only photos you explicitly select
- We do not collect precise GPS location
- We do not collect biometric data
- We do not track you across other apps or websites
WallVoid allows you to save any wallpaper directly to your device’s Photos app. To enable this, the app requests write permission to your photo library.
How it works: When you tap “Save to Photos”, iOS will prompt you to allow photo library access. We only use write-only permission to save the wallpaper you selected. We cannot view, read, or access any existing photos on your device.

WallVoid allows you to pick an image from your device and add it to the app as a custom wallpaper. This requires read access to your photo library only for the image you select.
What happens to your images: Images you upload may be temporarily stored on our secure servers for processing and display within the app. They are used solely to provide this feature and are never shared or sold.

WallVoid includes an AI-powered wallpaper generator. When you enter a text prompt and request a generated wallpaper, that prompt is sent to a third-party AI service to produce the image.
AI provider: We use the API provided by DeAPI.ai (https://deapi.ai/) to generate wallpapers. Your text prompts are transmitted to their servers to create images. We encourage you to review DeAPI.ai’s privacy policy to understand how your prompts are handled on their platform.

- DeAPI.ai may process and retain prompts subject to their own privacy policy

WallVoid uses the Unsplash API to display a curated library of high-quality wallpaper photos directly within the app. All photos displayed from Unsplash are sourced in accordance with the Unsplash License.
Unsplash API: When you browse or load wallpapers in WallVoid, requests are sent to Unsplash servers (https://unsplash.com) to fetch images. Unsplash may log these requests including your IP address and device information, subject to their own privacy policy. We encourage you to review Unsplash’s Privacy Policy at https://unsplash.com/privacy.
- Wallpaper images in WallVoid are sourced from Unsplash under the Unsplash License
- All photographers are credited as required by Unsplash guidelines
- When you browse wallpapers, image requests are made to Unsplash’s servers
- Unsplash may collect your IP address and request metadata when images are loaded
- We do not store or share your Unsplash browsing activity
- Photos from Unsplash are free to use under the Unsplash License
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the WallVoid app
- Fetch and display wallpapers from Unsplash API
- Enable saving wallpapers to your photo library
- Process and display images you upload from your device
- Send your AI prompts to DeAPI.ai to generate custom wallpapers
- Analyze usage trends to improve our content and features
- Respond to your support requests if you contact us
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties. We share data only in the limited circumstances below.
- Unsplash: Image requests are sent to Unsplash servers when you browse wallpapers — subject to Unsplash’s own privacy policy
- DeAPI.ai: Your AI text prompts are shared with DeAPI.ai solely to generate wallpaper images on your behalf
- Service providers: Trusted third parties that help us operate the app (analytics, cloud storage) — bound by confidentiality agreements
- Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of WallVoid and its users
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, data may transfer to the new owner
WallVoid uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Apple App Store — app distribution and in-app purchases
- Unsplash API (https://unsplash.com) — wallpaper image library and content delivery
- DeAPI.ai (https://deapi.ai/) — AI wallpaper image generation
- Firebase / Google Analytics — app performance and crash reporting
- RevenueCat — subscription management (if applicable)
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of all third-party services independently.
Since WallVoid does not require an account, we do not store personal profiles. We retain only the minimum data necessary:
- Uploaded images are stored temporarily and deleted after processing or when you remove them
- AI-generated wallpapers are stored temporarily and deleted after a reasonable period
- Anonymous usage and analytics data is retained for up to 24 months

WallVoid is not directed to children under the age of 13. Since no account is required, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The AI generation feature should not be used by children without parental supervision. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through the app, please contact us immediately at mohamedmasaoudi21@icloud.com and we will promptly delete it.
Even without an account, you have the following rights:
- Access: Request information about what data we may hold related to your device
- Deletion: Request deletion of any data associated with your device
- Opt-out: Opt out of analytics by adjusting your iOS privacy settings
- Revoke photo access: iOS Settings → Privacy → Photos → WallVoid → None

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), secure cloud storage, and restricted access controls. All uploaded images and AI prompts are transmitted over encrypted connections. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will notify you through the app or by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
